‘KAHLUA’ – NEWBRIDGE VIRGO VOYAGER 23′
Built in 1982, bilge keel ‘Kahlua’ is currently on her mooring at Wareham, Dorset. Decking was replaced in 2022 and all rigging/sails are in fair condition (mainsail stack pack and spray hood could do with replacing). Her 14hp Beta Marine diesel replaced the original a few years ago and has been owner serviced yearly for the past three years. The motor has logged a little more than 500 hours. She has been sailed regularly throughout the 2023 and 2024 season. All seacocks regularly serviced and worked (two have been replaced in the last 12 months). Inside trim, headlining and cushions are tired and could do with replacement.
Fitted with: electric anchor windlass, Eberspacher heater, depth gauge (log is U/S), GPS, gimbal mounted gas stove (2 burners), Jabsco sea toilet, 2 x 12v batteries, manual bilge pump.
Also included: Raymarine ST2000+ tiller pilot, solar panel, cockpit tent and frame (as new).

Cornish Shrimper, Inboard, MK 1, Sail No. 517, Built 1992 RCD Category C
Currently lying ashore near Shaftesbury for sale at £12,500
Mayfly is a dark blue ‘inboard’ Shrimper (still the original gel coat) with off-white decks and grey anti slip with a ‘classic’ varnished interior. The boat has traditional tan sails, solid teak rubbing bands a mast from laminated Sitka spruce and a Bamber ‘combo’ trailer.
Mayfly benefited from an extensive overhaul in 2021 and she is equipped with the reliable Yanmar 1GM10 which produces 9HP; this too was extensively overhauled in 2021 where it received a new exhaust elbow and exhaust system along with a new generator, battery switch and warning ‘buzzer’ in 2022. The spars were stripped and varnished, to a very high standard, with International 2-pack in 2021.

MODEL: AMERICAN CUTTER
Beautiful scale model of Ranger an American Cutter c.1823 and was typical of the American cutters built in the first half of the 19th century and basically used for surveillance and coastguard duties. It was armed with a large carronade installed in the centre of the deck that rotated on a circular guideway, permitting rapid fire from both sides of the hull with a single weapon. All At Sea card game
10% of all sales go to the RNLI. So far we’ve raised over £1400 for the charity and I think it will appeal to members for Christmas gifts. The game was invented and produced by RYC member Hazel Cushion.
ALL AT SEA is a fast-paced, family friendly card game that enables you to voyage around the coast of the United Kingdom.
The game consists of two packs of cards including VOYAGE CARDS, PORT CARDS and wickedly game-changing SHIPPING FORECAST CARDS.
Each player is dealt a voyage card which lists 6 ports to complete their voyage.Taking it in turns they take cards from the PORTS pile and try to complete their voyage. Some voyages are circular starting and ending at the same port, others follow a linear route around the coast.
There’s plenty of hazards to be encountered though – will you hit the rocks and have to abort the voyage or will you get a free night in the marina and gain a bonus port?
The game has been designed to be family friendly and is suitable for 2-6 players aged 8+.
